How to Order
Take a measurement of the project area you wish to fill with stone so that you can find a square foot estimate.
Once you have a measurement with estimated square footage contact us to let us know about your project, ask questions, and share any concerns you may have. We'll offer advice and additional options to meet your needs. We want your project to be as successful as possible.
Coordinate Delivery (see below for what to expect with delivery). Although we can more than likely accommodate your delivery on the same day of placing the order, we prefer to have a 1-2 day lead time and 5-7 day lead time for stone.
If you plan on paying with a credit card, be prepared to give us the number over the phone.
Be prepared to meet the truck driver on site at time of delivery. If you are unable to be present during the delivery, we will require to have the site marked for our delivery partners.

Mountain Stone and our delivery partners work with you to find the best solution for the delivery of your stone.
Know Your Site Conditions
We don't want to damage your property with our truck, and we must ensure the safety of both our driver and truck.
Please think about the following before your order stone for your job site.
1. Are there any overhead electric lines or tree limbs? The truck is twice as tall with the bed raised!
2. Is the ground level? The truck can easily tip over when the heavy bed is raised on uneven ground.
3. Is the ground soft from recent rain, or swampy?
4. Are there any buried pipes or septic lines that the heavy truck might break?
What To Expect
Here is what you can expect when your stone is delivered and how drivers may be able to help you.
Your stone will be delivered in a LARGE dump truck if you order over 6Tons.
Expect the driver to stay on site no more than 10-15 minutes.
Tailgate Spreading: Tailgate spreading must be requested at the time of the order and we leave it up to our delivery partners upon delivery.
Expect the driver to only pile dump in one spot.
If our delivery partners do not feel comfortable dumping in your requested or marked location, due to unsafe conditions they will recommend somewhere else on your property that is safer.

Picking Up Material
Have your own truck and trailer and would like to pickup your own materials?
1. Stop in at our office. Let us know what materials you would like.
2. We will have you weigh on our scale.
3. We offer loading for an additional fee of $10.00 (this does not pertain to our commercial accounts).
4. Once loaded, you will rescale so we can measure your tonnage.
5. Pull off of scale and come back into our office for payment.

WE CANNOT:
Deliver more than one product at a time in the same truck.
Drive over bridges that support less than the loaded truck's weight.
Allow our drivers to shovel or rake stone on the job site.
Drive on asphalt or concrete driveways.
Drive over areas that have septic directly underneath path.
